Ranks and Badges Arrangements
General Attire Standards
-Hair should be of the natural colour
-Bespectacled members are to put on spectacle hooks/bands
-No coloured contact lenses are allowed
-No decorative accessories (eg. Ear studs, bracelets, necklaces etc) are allowed, unless for religious purposes
-Nails are to keep clean and trimmed
-Spectacles and shoes cannot have striking colours/ fanciful designs
Males:
-Hair should be trimmed and sloped on the back and sides
-Fringe should not touch the eyebrows
-No facial hair except for the eyebrows
-Length of sideburns cannot exceed half the ears
Females:
-Only black hair accessories are allowed
-Short hair should not touch the collar
-Long hair should be tied up at all times, no fringes allowed

Beret
-To keep clean and free of dust
-Beret must be seasoned
-Crest should be at the top of the left eye
-Hair in the front side should not be seen
-Beret tail cannot be seen
-Beret are to worn at all times when outside the shelter

Shirt
-All buttons are to point downwards
-No fray ends or creases
-Collars are to be standing
-Pockets are to be pressed flat with press studs clipped on
-Sleeve iron lines are to start directly from the back of the shoulder lapels
-Formation signs on the both sides of the sleeves, 3 fingers from the should lapels
-Distinct and no multiple iron lines
Name tag is to be centralised on the right portion of the shirt, 1cm above the right breast pocket
-When worn, shirt should be tucked in showing ½ of the belt

Blouse

· Belt must go through all the belt loops of the trousers, from the left
· Belt runner is to be placed 2 fingers away from the end of the belt
· Belt buckle is to be in line with buttons and zipper

Trousers
-No fray ends or creases
-Front iron lines are to start from the inside of the 2 belt loops, closest to the zipper
-Back iron lines are to converge at the centre, forming an inverted “V”
-Distinct and no multiple iron lines

Skirt
-Presence of the open split at the back of the skirt
-No iron lines or creases
-When worn, skirt should be above the back of the knee

Footwear

Boots
-The entire boot should be cleaned and polished till shine, including the sides
-Only long black socks with no logo are to be worn
-Socks should be visible at the top of the boots

-Socks are to pulled up to 1/3 of the calf, at the same height with no gathers
-Shoe laces are to be tied in a horizontal manner and not crossed

-Top is replaced with NPCC-crested shirt
-Shirt is to be tucked in
-Standards for the rest of the uniform remain the same
-Head dress is not worn when travelling in public
PT Kit
-Size of logo on track pants cannot exceed a thumb’s length
-Long white socks with no logo are worn. Ankle socks are not allowed
-Track shoes that are predominantly white or black are worn.
-No sneakers allowed.
